The rib-eye steak is known by many names: Beauty Steak, Delmonico Steak, Spencer Steak, Market Steak, Scotch Filet, or, as the French prefer, “entrecôte”. The cut has excellent marbling, loaded with fat and flavor that it retains from the farm, to the kitchen, to your plate.
Creekstone Farms Natural Black Angus rib-eye comes from naturally raised cows fed a 100% vegetarian diet with no additives or growth hormones. With patience and strict guidelines, they raise cattle with the highest quality meat possible. The steaks are hand-cut to demanding specification and need nothing more than a little seething to bring out their tender, juicy flavor.
PREPARATION OR PAIRINGS
This lovely cut of meat arrives chilled, not frozen. Rib-eye is best served medium-rare or medium, whether grilled or pan-seared. Please see the cooking instructions card that comes with your order. For your sauce, you can choose from green peppercorn sauce, mushroom sauce, blue cheese sauce, or natural beef jus. Toss a quick salad or roast up some mixed vegetables to round out your meal.
And don’t forget the wine! We recommend a high-tannin Cabernet Sauvignon to cut through the juiciness and fat of the steak. Or, for a spicy kick, a robust Zinfandel also pairs rather well. Enjoy!

We encourage that you enjoy your steak kits as soon as they arrive. If you need to store them, place then in the chiller for no more than 24 hours. Once you’re ready, cook them up and enjoy their silky, tender goodness!
